Invest in TASCS PAC
TASCS PAC exists to ensure surgery centers are not reacting to policy — we are shaping it.
Leadership participation sends a signal — to lawmakers, regulators, and competitors — that Texas surgery centers are organized, aligned, and engaged.
This is an investment in the operational future of your ASC.

The Legislative Reality
Healthcare is one of the most regulated industries in Texas.
Texas policy decisions directly determine Payment policy & Reimbursement
- Licensing and inspections
- Regulatory requirements and reporting requirements
|
- Scope of practice
- Ownership models
|
If ASCs are not represented in Austin, decisions will be made without us.
What TASCS PAC Does Differently
- Invests in lawmakers who understand the benefits of outpatient surgery
- Maintains direct legislative relationships year round, not just when issues arise
- Aligns physicians, owners, operators, and partners under one advocacy strategy
ASCs save the healthcare system billions of dollars per year, playing a crucial role in high-quality and cost-effective care. TASCS PAC ensures that lawmakers are aware of that contribution. Surgery centers are comparatively new providers and must organize through political action committees to have influence that is in step with the industry's contributions.
The Cost of Inaction
Policy decisions made without ASC input result in:
- Reduced reimbursement
- Regulatory burden
- Competitive disadvantage of pushing patients to other entities
Other provider groups invest heavily in advocacy. Surgery centers must match that presence.
Bottom Line
If surgery centers do not support their PAC, no one else will.
TASCS PAC ensures:
- ASC voices are heard
- Lawmakers understand our role
- Policy reflects real-world care delivery
