Robin Rizzetto, RN, BSN, CNOR, CAIP, CASC

Robin Rizzetto brings over 25 years of experience in the healthcare industry, with a career defined by her dedication, versatility, and leadership. She currently serves as a Director Clinical Operations at AmSurg, where she supports ambulatory surgery centers across the Western Region. 

Robin’s diverse background includes roles such as Center Administrator, Director of Nursing and Operating Room Circulator. A proud U.S. Navy Veteran, she began her healthcare journey as a Hospital Corpsman and Operating Room Technician. In addition to her current role at AmSurg, she also serves as the Infection Control Resource for the Clinical Quality Department.

A native Texan, Robin enjoys traveling, outdoor activities and spending time with her family.


 

Co-Chair 
Lisa Flinn BSN, RN, CNOR, CAIP 

Lisa Flinn has been working in the healthcare industry for 40 years. Her career has been focused in the perioperative setting primarily as an OR circulator. She started her career as a hospital volunteer and received her RN from St. Francis Hospital School of Nursing in 1982. In 2011 she completed her BSN through University of Texas at Arlington. She is employed as the THR Region Float Director of Nursing. In addition to her other duties Lisa is a Regional Quality Leader for SCA Health. Her passion is focused on Infection Control as she serves as the THR region Infection Preventionist.

 Lisa holds a CNOR and CAIP certification.

Lisa is married, with 3 grown children, 2 stepchildren, and 5 grandchildren.

 

 

 



Shonna Hansen, MSN-IPC, BSN, RN, 
GERO-BC, CIC, VA-BC, WCC, LP

Shonna Hansen is an Infection Preventionist, Vascular Access & Clinical Specialist. Shonna has over 36 years’ experience in healthcare, holding multiple Board Certifications: CIC, Vascular Access, Gerontology, WCC, and is a licensed Paramedic. Shonna is a subject matter expert in Infection Prevention and is an active member of the Scientific Advisory Board for UVDI. Shonna serves as a subject matter expert for vascular access, working with the Association for Vascular Access as a board certification examination writer, as well as research & development for the new Clinical Practice Guidelines.

Richard Bays JD, MBA, RN
Richard Bays has worked in the surgery world for over 20 years. In addition to serving in administrative positions, he now works as a compliance officer ensuring that ASCs meet State and Federal requirements as well as accreditation regulations. As a nurse and attorney, he brings a unique perspective in assisting ASCs achieve regulatory compliance.

 

 

 


Arthur Henderson, BA, CNOR, CRCST,CHL, CQIA, AGTS 

Arthur Henderson is a senior clinical education specialist with STERIS with more than 35 years of experience in GI, Open Heart, Neurosurgery, and Cardio-Thoracic Intensive Care. In his previous roles he served as an Assistant OR Manager, OR Clinical Educator, and as the Education Coordinator for the California Central Service Association.

He has many certifications across several specialties including a RN,CNOR, CRCST, CHL, CQIA and AGTS. 

He is an active member of AORN, HSPA, SGNA, APIC. American Quality Association.

 


 

 

Zach Kahle , Terminal Cleaning Services 

Zach Kahle is an entrepreneur and business leader with a track record of building and growing service-based companies. As an owner of Terminal Cleaning Services, Zach partners with healthcare systems and surgery centers to solve facility challenges, specializing in high-compliance cleaning for medical environments.

 

 

 

 


 

 Katie Pierson DNP, RN, CASC 

Dr. Katie Pierson, DNP, is a seasoned ASC consultant with nearly 20 years of nursing experience. She supports surgery centers nationwide through her work with Ambulatory Healthcare Strategies, focusing on regulatory compliance, survey readiness, and real-world infection prevention practices that actually work in busy outpatient settings.
